I can’t believe a year has already gone by with our sweet girl! We had the best day. We didn’t do a party because my girl is shy around a crowd and helloooo pandemic! I really wanted the day to be all about her and things she would like to do.
Food
We started the day with these adorable personalized Donuts. Aren’t they the cutest?! They were absolutely delicious. Then had Chick-Fil-A for lunch, Layla loves their fries! For dinner Dylan grilled Tri-tip, and I made garlic bread and southern style green beans. YUM!
Cake
I can’t take any credit for Layla’s cake. If you’ve ever had cake from Amy Cakes then you know there’s nothing like it! All I did was tell her a color and flavor (wedding cake, YUM), She came up with this beautiful cake.
Decor
Tassel Garland I simply tied the garland around the high chair
High Chair Cushion Cover These are SO cute and can be easily thrown in the washer.
High Chair Foot Rest We love our cherry wood foot rest! It’s great for baby’s posture which reduces the risk of choking.
Wood Contact Paper All you have to do is cut this to size and wrap it around the legs like a giant sticker!
High Chair This high chair is so affordable and easy to clean
Rainbow Balloon DIY
I learned to make the balloon rainbow from this youtube video

Play Place
We had to do something really fun! We originally planned on going to the zoo but it was cold with a 60% chance of rain. We took Layla to Kids Funtown right when they opened and we all had so much fun! they have three levels of playgrounds, zip lining, trampolines, slides, you name it! I know what you’re thinking.. you took Layla to a play place in the middle of a pandemic?!? Germ central, right? I contacted them ahead of time to see their cleaning procedures! They fog and steam all of the toys on top of their regular sanitizing procedures. It was so nice to have fun without having to worry!
I think that wraps up her day, thanks for following along!
