Spider Cookies
These spooky, fun spider cookies are perfect for Halloween or any time you want a little treat with a creepy twist!

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 10-15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 cookies
Ingredients
Prepared or homemade cookie dough (I used @sweetlorens GF Pumpkin) |
Mini Reese's cups, unwrapped and frozen |
Candy eyeballs |
Chocolate chips |
Instructions
- Prepare the Cookies: Follow the instructions for your cookie dough (I used Sweet Loren's gluten-free pumpkin dough for a festive twist).
- Bake: Place your cookies on a baking sheet and bake according to the dough instructions.
- Add Spider Bodies: Once cookies are out of the oven, gently press a frozen mini Reese's cup upside down onto the center of each cookie. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
- Attach Eyes: While the chocolate on the Reese’s cups is still soft, place candy eyeballs onto the center to create your spider's eyes.
- Firm Up: Refrigerate the cookies for about 10 minutes to allow them to firm up.
- Make the Legs: Microwave chocolate chips for 20 seconds, mix, and repeat until smooth and fully melted.
- Pipe the Legs: Clip a tiny piece off the corner of a piping bag (or a plastic bag) and pipe eight legs onto each spider cookie. Refrigerate for another 10 minutes to set the legs.
- Enjoy: These fun spider cookies are ready to impress, whether for a party, Halloween, or a fun baking session with the kids!
Enjoy these spooky, delicious treats!
