Lasagna
Slow Cooker Lasagna
This Slow Cooker Lasagna is the ultimate comfort food! Layers of tender noodles, seasoned ricotta, savory ground beef, and gooey mozzarella make this dish a family favorite. Plus, it’s easy to prepare in the slow cooker for a hands-off dinner.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 5-6 hours | Total Time: 5-6 hours 15 minutes | Servings: 6-8
Ingredients
16 oz ricotta cheese |
1 egg |
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese |
2 Tbsp Italian seasoning |
Lasagna noodles (I used gluten-free) |
1 lb ground beef |
48 oz pasta sauce |
8 oz mozzarella cheese (use as much as you desire, I prefer more) |
Directions
- Prepare the Sauce: In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Once cooked, combine the beef with the pasta sauce and stir to combine.
- Mix the Ricotta Layer: In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
- Layer the Lasagna: Spread 1/3 of the meat sauce mixture at the bottom of your slow cooker. Break 3 lasagna noodles to fit the slow cooker and layer them on top of the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles and cover with mozzarella cheese. Layer another 1/3 of the meat sauce, followed by the remaining ricotta cheese mixture, and top with more mozzarella. Add the remaining 3 noodles and top with the rest of the meat sauce.
- Cook the Lasagna: Cover and set your slow cooker to low for 5-6 hours. For a melty, golden top, add additional mozzarella cheese in the last few minutes of cooking and let it melt.
