Salt and pepper (to taste)
1 head garlic, minced
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp tomato paste
2.5 cups beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
24 oz Rao’s marinara sauce
1 lb rigatoni
Handful of freshly torn basil
For the Ricotta Mixture:
7.5 oz ricotta
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil over medium/low heat in a large pan.
  2. Add the diced onion, oregano, basil, parsley, red pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and no longer pink.

  11. Once the pasta is cooked, stir in a handful of torn basil leaves.
  12. Taste for seasoning and adjust as needed.
  13. Spoon a dollop of the ricotta mixture on top of each serving, sprinkle with extra parmesan, and enjoy!
